Police in Tuscany arrest three loan sharks

Pistoia, April 17 - Italian finance police arrested three alleged loan sharks in the Tuscan city of Pistoia on Wednesday after a man filed a complaint that he was being threatened and charged exorbitant fees. The small businessman turned to the shady money-lenders when he could not cover the costs for his shop, but was then asked up to 1,800% interest on the loan. Police also confiscated 70,000 euros worth of goods and property from the three men.
