Rome, April 15 - One of the four Italian journalists kidnapped in Syria April 4 and released over the weekend said Monday that he would not be returning to continue covering the country's brutal civil war. "I will not go back again because the conditions won't allow me to do my job. Syrians need to organize and create a situation that ensures that journalists are protected," Italian state television RAI reporter, Amedeo Ricucci, said. The journalists, who were taken hostage in northern Syria by armed Islamist militants while filming a documentary, returned to Italy on Saturday. Ricucci along with Elio Colavolpe, Andrea Vignali and Susan Dabbous told investigators on Monday that they had not been mistreated during the kidnapping and detainment.
