Rome airport terminal evacuated for smoke

Rome, April 11 - A terminal at Rome's main Fiumicino airport was evacuated Thursday for heavy smoke. Firefighters were evaluating the cause of the smoke which broke out in Terminal 3 between a bar and a restaurant inside the airport's Terrazza Roma shopping area. Flights were not interrupted, police said, and passengers were allowed to return once the smoke had been extinguished after two hours of inspections.
