Financial services company ransacked, owner tied up

Asti, April 5 - The owner of a financial services company was tied up and had his offices robbed on Thursday after walking out of a social club in the town of Asti, northern Italy. The 49-year-old man was forced at gunpoint to walk to his office where an accomplice was waiting. The two then tied up the owner and ransacked the firm, and in particular made off with two cell phones. The significance of the phones or the data they contained was unknown. The victim was able to free himself after about half an hour and call the police.
