Pope Francis to meet Ban Ki-moon Tuesday

Vatican City, April 8 - Pope Francis will hold a private audience with United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on Tuesday, the Vatican press office said on Monday. It will be the first face-to-face meeting between the pontiff, who was elected last month, and the UN chief. Ban is also slated to meet with the Italian President Giorgio Napolitano and outgoing Premier Mario Monti while in Italy.
