Anti-mafia writer Saviano in Rome with new book

Rome, April 3 - Anti-mafia writer and journalist Roberto Saviano will be in Rome Thursday to present his new book on the international cocaine trade on the eve of its debut in book stores. ZeroZeroZero (Narratori Feltrinelli, 444 pages, 18 euros) will be presented at 10pm local time in the Feltrinelli bookshop on Via Appia Nuova in southeast Rome. Journalist and writer Benedetta Tobagi, daughter of the influential journalist Walter Tobagi who was assassinated by left-wing terrorists in 1980, will also be present. The presentation will be broadcast live on the Internet. Saviano lives under police protection following the 2006 publication of his non-fiction work Gomorra denouncing the activities of the Camorra crime syndicate in his native Campania, which was subsequently turned into a successful film.
