Storm isolates Capri from Italian mainland

Napoli, March 6 - Violent storms isolated the island of Capri from the Italian mainland on Wednesday and storms continued to blow along the Amalfi coast in southern Italy. Waves splashed onto beachfront property at Marina Piccola and Faraglioni, flooding bars and restaurants while a strong northwest wind and choppy sailing conditions interrupted ship lines from Naples and Sorrento, the parts closest to the Mediterranean resort island.
