Foreign minister reassures on Italy's post-vote prospects

New York, March 5 - Italian Foreign Minister Giulio Terzi told business and financial leaders at a conference in New York on Tuesday that there was no reason to worry about instability in the eurozone's third largest economy despite inconclusive national elections last week. According to sources at the closed-door event, Terzi - who was speaking during a meeting organized by the International Economic Alliance - reassured attendees of Italy's "ability to recover". During the conference other topics were discussed, including prospects for a transatlantic free-trade area as well as prospects for the eurozone and actions to be taken by the G20 to help guarantee global economic and financial stability.
