'Ndrangheta boss gunned down in Rome

Rome, January 25 - An 'Ndrangheta boss was gunned down on the outskirts of Rome Thursday night. Vincenzo Femia, 67, had been a leader of the Calabrian mafia in Rome for the last 20 years and belonged to the San Luca clan that sprang to international attention with the 2007 murder of six mafiosi in the Greman city of Duisburg, police said. Femia was hit by "at least nine bullets" while sitting in his car, a Matiz, police said.
