Italian Supreme Court confirms 5-year sentence for Corona

Rome, January 28 - Italy's Court of Cassation confirmed a five-year jail sentence for VIP photographer Fabrizio Corona for attempted extortion of former France striker David Trezeguet and use of his personal data. Corona had reportedly taken photos of the footballer outside of a public bar and had sought to allegedly extort 25,000 euros from him for not publishing them.
