Soccer: Milan rule out Kaka, Beckham 99.9% not returning

Milan, January 17 - AC Milan have ruled out bringing back Brazilian playmaker Kaka from Real Madrid and said David Beckham is almost certain not to return either. "Kaka is impossible, it cannot be done, there is a salary problem," said Milan Chief Executive Adriano Galliani. "His is too high". Nevertheless, the Italian sports press continued to speculate on Thursday on a possible return for the 30-year-old Brazilian, who has not lived up to his billing since leaving Milan for Real for close to 70 million euros in 2009. Galliani also commented on Milan being linked to former England captain Beckham, who is looking for a new club after ending his five-year spell at the Galaxy in December. "David is a nice idea. But it's 99.9% not going to happen," he said. Beckham played for Milan twice in 2009 and 2010 on loan from the Los Angeles Galaxy during the Mayor League Soccer championship's closed season. The 37-year-old performed well in the first spell, but the second was hampered by injury.
