Rome, January 14 - Juventus General Manager Giuseppe Marotta admitted the Turin giants feared title rivals Lazio and Napoli after a slip in form in the new year. Juve went into Serie A's Christmas break eight points clear, but second-placed Lazio have managed to cut the advantage to three points, after the reigning champions lost 1-2 at home to Sampdoria and then were held 1-1 at Parma on Sunday. Napoli are two points further back in third. "There is fear of the teams behind us," Marotta said. "We shouldn't be pessimistic, but realistic. "It's a period of apparent apprehension. We don't have the same intensity and brilliance as at the start of the season. "The standings reflect the quality of the teams. Lazio and Napoli are superior to the others at the moment".
