(ANSA) – Treviso, January 11 – A 13-year-old runaway from Pederobba near Treviso who left home in his father's Mercedes was found by German police on Friday. The boy was identified after Italian police alerted Interpol earlier in the day on suspicion that he may have headed abroad. Searches began on Thursday after the youngster ran away from home following a row with his mother and brother. The boy was adopted two years ago from a country in Eastern Europe, and according to his mother he had been missing his birth sister and was probably trying to find her. He is said to be in good health.
