Rome, January 4 - The yield spread between Italian 10-year bonds and their safer German counterparts fell to 273 basis points around midday on Friday. The spread, a barometer of Italy's borrowing costs in the eurozone crisis, had opened steady at 275 points. The yield remained stable at 4.25%. The differential fell as German 10-year yields rose to a two-month high of 1.53%.
