Three sentenced to jail for alleged criminal association

(ANSA) – Naples, December 21 - Giuseppe Polverino, the alleged head of an organized crime gang in the Naples neighbourhood of Pianura and in the nearby town of Quarto, was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Friday for alleged criminal association. Politicians Armando Chiaro and Salvatore Camerlengo were sentenced to seven and a half years and eight years respectively for the same alleged crimes. They are center-right activists in the Quarto area.
