European markets little changed as all eyes on U.S.

Milan, December 14 - Markets were little changed across Europe on Friday, paced by MilanÆs Ftse Mib index, as investors waited for an outcome on the US budget talks involving as much as $600 billion of spending cuts and tax increases before the end of the year. Italy's Ftse Mib index rose 0.3% to 15,908 points. The yield spread between 10-year Italian bonds and the German benchmark, a barometer of Italy's borrowing costs in the eurozone crisis, closed at 326 points with 10-year yields at 4.6%. The Frankfurt Dax bourse 0.2% at 7,596 points, while the Paris Cac 40 Index was little changed at 3,643 points. Madrid's Ibex index was little changed at 8,018 points. London's Ftse-100 stock market fell 0.1% to 5,921 points.
