Milan, November 14 - The Italian Soccer Federation's (FIGC) sporting prosecutor has charged Lazio over stickers with mocked-up images of Anne Frank wearing an AS Roma shirt that some of its supporters attached at the Stadio Olimpico during a recent match, ANSA sources said on Tuesday. The case prompted international condemnation. The prosecutor has requested that the case against Lazio Chairman Claudio Lotito be dropped, the sources said. Lotito was implicated for allowed hard-core 'ultra' fans to buy tickets for the Olimpico's Curva Sud section after the Curva Nord stand they usually use was closed in punishment for racist boos.
