Rome, November 13 - Italian Culture Minister Dario Franceschini said on Monday during a meeting with the country's autonomous museum directors that the reform that gave life to the museum system's reorganization is now "bearing fruit" in a "radical trend reversaò". State museum revenues increased by about 50 million euros between 2013-2016, up 38.4%. The trend is expected to continue in 2017 with a 13.5% revenue increase. Visitor numbers grew by 18.5% between 2013-2016 to reach 45.5 million in 2016, with a goal of 50 million visitors in 2017.
