Grillo denies Five Star Movement undemocratic with members

Rome, December 11 - Italian comedian Beppe Grillo on Tuesday denied allegations that he has been undemocratic within his anti-establishment Five Star Movement (M5S). "I'm getting seriously angry," he wrote on his blog, following complaints from certain party members that he is overly controlling of the party he founded. "Do not come to break my balls on democracy," he wrote. "I'm getting tired. I'm getting angry. I'm seriously pissed. We have a battle, we have a war here in the elections". Grillo, who has also been accused of sexism, has emphasized the number of women on the party ticket - 17 of 31 recently elected M5S politicians. The party remains a rising force in Italian politics.
