Rome, December 10 - Italian gas stations will be closed starting Tuesday in a strike after negotiations failed Monday. Pumps will be capped on Tuesday from 19:00 local time until Friday at 07:00. Negotiations were inconclusive between petrol-station managers and the industry ministry on Monday. Gas stations accuse the government of policies that overcompensate oil companies and undercompensate distributors. A national transport strike is scheduled Friday, the day the gas-station strike comes to an end.
