Over one third of Aston Martin sold to Italian investors

Milan, December 7 - Italian investors announced Friday they have bought up 37.5% of British luxury sports-car maker Aston Martin for roughly 190 million euros. The buyer is Andrea Bonomi's InvestIndustrial investment fund, which made headlines in April when it sold legendary Italian motorcycle company Ducati to German automaker Audi. The deal must be approved by antitrust authorities in the first quarter of 2013 before it is final. Kuwaiti investment fund DAR currently owns the Aston Martin shares in question.
