Soccer: Berlusconi hints Milan could move for Balotelli

Rome, December 5 - AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi has hinted the Serie A giants may seek to sign Italy forward Mario Balotelli from Manchester City in the January transfer window. "No, he's not a dream," Berlusconi told Sky television when asked whether landing Berlusconi was a dream or reality. Milan Chief Executive Adriano Galliani has repeatedly ruled out a bid to buy the talented, temperamental 22-year-old, saying his salary demands would be too high. Balotelli has not been a regular starter for English champions City this season. The club are reportedly tired of his indiscipline and headline-grabbing off-field antics and are said to be thinking of offloading him in the transfer window. Balotelli supported Milan as a child and once famously wore a Milan shirt on TV while he was a player with their city rivals Inter. Berlusconi also denied speculation Brazilian forward Robinho would leave the club in January.
