Casalesi fugitive nabbed walking with friends in town centre

Caserta, November 29 - A fugitive member of the notorious Casalesi clan in the Neapolitan Camorra mafia was arrested Wednesday night strolling with friends in the centre of Castel Volturno near Naples. Andrea Conte, 50, has been sentenced to two years and seven months in jail for a range of mafia crimes. The Casalesi are the clan whose leaders' death threats forced writer Roberto Saviano into round-the-clock police protection.
