Rome, November 28 - Italy's civil protection agency on Wednesday extended its extreme weather alert to the entire country as a new storm system coming from the Atlantic is expected to bring more downpours and dangerous winds. Storms, heavy rains and strong winds are expected across the peninsula. On its website, www.protezionecivile.gov.it, the agency has published some guidelines on the dos and don'ts in extreme weather conditions. Those living in high-risk areas are invited to keep updated on the weather during the hours and days ahead as well as on measures to adopt and procedures to follow as issued by local civil protection agencies.
