Italy signs billion-dollar trade deal with China

Rome, November 28 - Italy and China signed a trade agreement Wednesday worth $1.27 billion. "The agreement demonstrates how in many sectors of the Italian economy we can attract foreign investors, thus stoking growth in the country," said Italian Premier Mario Monti after meeting in Rome with Jia Qinglin, the fourth-ranking member of China's Politburo.
