Florence, November 27 - A 92-year-old man told police on Tuesday that he sent a potential scam artist running after punching him in the face. According to the nonagenarian, the alleged con man, described as around 35 years old, simulated a car accident and called the elderly man to pull over, claiming that he had broken his side mirror. When the elderly man suggested calling the police, the younger man became threatening. The older man said that he threw a blow that caused the man to flee. The 92-year-old reported the incident to the police, saying that he was "exhausted and scared" by what happened.
