Bolzano, November 26 - According to a report by Italy's top business daily Il Sole 24 Ore released Monday, the northern city of Bolzano and its surrounding province have the highest quality of life in the country. In the paper's 23rd annual survey, Bolzano elbowed the city of Bologna out of its leading position. The Emilian city of Bologna dropped nine places to 10th. The southern cities of Taranto and Foggia in the region of Puglia ranked at the bottom of the poll. The survey looked at 107 provinces throughout the country and took into consideration six factors - standard of living, business and professional services, environment and health, population, public services and leisure activities. Silver and bronze ratings went to Siena and Trento, while the remaining top 10 included Rimini, Trieste, Parma, Belluno, Ravenna and Aosta, as in the past.
