Soccer: Beckham to leave LA Galaxy after MLS Cup final

Rome, November 20 - David Beckham is set to leave the Los Angeles Galaxy after the Mayor League Soccer (MLS) Cup final on 1 December and bring to an end his six-year stint with the American club. The 37-year-old former England captain suggested his next team will be his last. "I wanted to experience one last challenge before the end of my playing career," Beckham said in a statement on the Galaxy's website on Tuesday. He has reportedly received offers from teams in Russia, China, Australia and Brazil and wealthy French side Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be vying for his services. Beckham won six English Premier League titles and a Champions League crown with Manchester United between 1993 and 2003. He helped Real Madrid win a Spanish League championship in 2007 during a four-year stint in Spain and he led the Galaxy to victory in the MLS Cup last year. He also had loan spells with AC Milan in 2009 and 2010.
