Bitonto, November 13 - Italian Police on Tuesday said they found a loaded pistol hidden in the pram of the infant son of a man they arrested for violating probation. Francesco Cervelli, 38, was arrested Sunday in Bitonto, near the southern Italian city of Bari, as he ate lunch at the home of relatives. He attempted to evade arrest by fleeing across the roof of his mother's home and leaving a loaded semiautomatic in his baby's stroller. Police say that Cervelli had threatened his wife and intimidated local shopkeepers with the gun while he was a fugitive. He is under arrest for repeated probation violations aggravated by charges related to the illegal possession and use of a concealed weapon.
