Rome, November 30 - Former two-time centre-left premier Romano Prodi on Wednesday said he would vote Yes in Sunday's Constitutional reform referendum. "Even though the proposed reforms certainly don't have the necessary depth and clarity, all the same for my personal history and the possible consequences on the outside, I feel I must make public my Yes, in the hope that this helps reinforce our democratic rules above all via the reform of the electoral law," he said in a statement. Italy votes Sunday on a Constitutional reform overhauling the country's political machinery which aims to make passing laws faster, cheaper and easier by turning the Senate into a leaner, regionally based body with limited lawmaking powers.
