Rome, November 29 - The Italian Formula One motor racing Grand Prix will stay at Monza, the head of the Italian Automobile Club (ACI) Angelo Sticchi Damiani said Tuesday after a new contract was signed with F1 Monday. "On behalf of all Italian sports fans I must thank Premier Matteo Renzi and the president of CONI (the Italian Olympic Committee) Giovanni Malagò who, just over a year ago, showed their belief in this goal and created the conditions to reach, together, this very important result". "I'm very satisfied with this great result," said Malagò. "Without the careful and stubborn work of President Sticchi Damiani, to whom I give my heartfelt thanks, Italy would have lost its F1 grand prix."
