Rome, November 7 - The spread between 10-year Italian bonds and the benchmark German bund opened down Wednesday at 341 points on the news that U.S. President Barack Obama had won re-election. The yield, an important indicator of investor faith in debt-stricken Italy's ability to weather the euro crisis, dropped to 4.869%. The equivalent Spanish spread was also down to 415.7 points, with a yield of 5.6%.
