EU-Turkey: Turkish FM to visit Bruxelles on Wednesday

(ANSAmed) - ANKARA, NOVEMBER 6 - Turkey's Foreign Affairs Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will pay a visit to Bruxelles on Wednesday to meet EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton as well as European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Stefan Fule, Anatolia news agency reports quoting a statement from the Foreign Ministry. Davutoglu will also meet the members of the Friends of Turkey Group in the European Parliament. "At these meetings, all aspects of Turkey-EU relations, including the accession process, will be discussed and exchange of views on international and regional issues will take place," said the statement. On the occasion of the visit, Minister Davutoglu will open a photo exhibition entitled "Time in Turkey" and will participate in a panel discussion on "EU and Turkey: Facing the challenges of the Arab Spring" together with Daniel Cohn-Bendit, Co-Chairman of the Greens Group at the European Parliament. Davutoglu will also meet Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belgium Didier Reynders. (ANSAmed).
