Italy makes changes to anti-mafia laws

(ANSA) – Rome, October 26 – The Italian government on Friday approved changes to anti-mafia laws, including amendments to guidelines governing the process of the State confiscating property suspected to be owned by organized-crime members. The measures, which aim to streamline the process, were approved at a cabinet meeting of government ministers in Rome after they had been previously authorized by the relevant parliament commissions.
