Soccer: Allegri gets vote of confidence from Berlusconi

Rome, October 25 - Under-pressure AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri got a vote of confidence from owner Silvio Berlusconi Thursday. "We will get through this spell with this coach and this group (of players)," said CEO Adriano Galliani, stressing that "this is what I think and what Chairman Berlusconi thinks too". "The fans must be patient," Galliani said. Allegri said earlier he has no thoughts of quitting even though his side's poor form continued with a 1-0 defeat at Malaga in the Champions League on Wednesday. It was the third consecutive defeat in all competitions for the seven-time European champions, who are joint third-bottom in Serie A with seven points from eight games, 15 points behind leaders Juventus.
