Governments to come will get better, Monti says

(ANSA) - Bologna, October 17 - Premier Mario Monti told an audience at the National Association of Cities' (ANCI) assembly in Bologna on Wednesday that the governments to come will continue to improve. "The governments to follow can only be better, because they know what the people want". Monti also jokingly told the crowd in the Emilia-Romagna capital city that his mother, who was from the region, always told him to "stay far away from politics". Speaking to mayors from across the country, Monti said that "being the mayor of a large city is by far more difficult than being prime minister".
