(ANSA) – Lucero (Foggia), October 5 – A local city councillor and four others in the town of Lucera in southern Italy were taken into custody on Friday after a judge investigating alleged urban planning violations issued the arrest warrants. A judge ordered the people to be held as part of a probe into irregular planning permission permits that may have been released for the building of residential homes in the area surrounding and including the National Park of Gargano. Those under investigation are being probed for possible corruption among other offenses.
