(ANSA) - Rome, September 25 - Carlo Ancelotti has said he sees former Italy and AC Milan striker Filippo Inzaghi as his coaching "heir". Inzaghi, 39, is currently in charge of one of Milan's youth teams after retiring as a player last season. He is seen by many as the favourite to take over Milan's first team if the Serie A giants continue their poor start to the season and Massimiliano Allegri is fired. "Pippo Inzaghi is my heir," Paris Saint-Germain coach Ancelotti said in an interview that will be published in Wednesday's edition of weekly magazine Chi. "We speak often on the telephone, he's highly motivated," added the 53-year-old, who led Milan to two of their seven European titles, a Serie A crown and the Club World Cup during his stint in charge from 2001 to 2009. "The important thing is that he has managed to make the mental break from being a player to being a coach. Experience does the rest and he has plenty of that".
