Italy 'should ask for help' if markets press says OECD chief

(ANSA) - Rome, September 24 - Italy should ask for help from the European Central Bank's new bond-buying programme if markets are underwhelmed by its reforms, the head of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) said Monday. "It's a decision that Italy will have to take if the markets do not sufficiently recognise the merit of (Italy's) reforms, OECD Secretary Angel Gurria said on the sidelines of a conference in Rome.
