(ANSA) - Rome, September 19 - Lazio midfielder Stefano Mauri has been summoned by Italian prosecutors for questioning in relation to a probe into alleged money laundering. The move comes after a request from Swiss prosecutors, who are looking into a deposit of around 100,000 euros into a bank account in the name of the player's parents. Mauri is among dozens of people involved in Italian soccer who are being probed for alleged involvement in betting-related match fixing in recent years. Judicial sources said on Monday that Lazio defender Luciano Zauri was under investigation for suspected money-laundering related to the transfer of around one million euros into a Swiss bank account.
