(ANSA) - Rome, September 17 - The euro is an "achievement" that can't be given up and we are determined to protect it, Italian President Giorgio Napolitano said following a meeting with Greek counterpart Karolos Papoulius in Rome on Monday. President Napolitano underlined the importance of Greece as a eurozone partner that "must stay in the community". Papoulius urged naysaying euro partners to stop "spreading doubts" over Greece's ability to pull through its economic crisis. However, the Greek president said that his country's citizens had "reached their limit" and could not continue this way. "The level of unemployment in Greece is unacceptable, especially among youth," Papoulius said.
