Prostitute beaten then set on fire

(ANSA) - Rome, September 12 - Police say that a prostitute was attacked and set on fire in Rome overnight Tuesday. The 22-year-old Romanian was rescued by a co-worker and taken to Sant'Eugenio hospital in the capital where she is being treated in intensive care for third-degree burns on 50% of her body. Police are searching for two men who witnesses say beat the woman then poured flammable liquid on her and set her on fire in the Roman neighborhood Borghesiana.
