Monti warn unions to work swiftly with business leaders

(ANSA) – Rome, September 11 – Italian Premier Mario Monti warned labor unions at a meeting in Rome Tuesday that time was running out for action, government sources told ANSA. An effort for concrete results is urgently needed from talks between business leaders and unions, Monti told the union leaders. Monti reminded unions that only a few weeks remained before Eurogroup and European Union summits in October. The premier called for concrete signals within a month.
