(ANSA) - Modena, September 4 - Many fans of Luciano Pavarotti were left disappointed on Tuesday after free tickets for the Luciano's Friends concert to be held on Thursday on the fifth anniversary of the acclaimed tenor's death were snapped up. In total around 400 people turned up at Modena's Teatro Comunale to make a bid for one of the 300 tickets made available by the concert's organisers. Some had been queuing since dawn in the hope of getting a seat. Those unable to attend the concert can watch it on a maxi screen at Modena's other theatre, the Storchi, but here again tickets will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis. The concert line-up includes many music greats including composer Ennio Morricone, British rock guitarist Jeff Beck, Italian rock singers Zucchero, Elisa and Lorenzo Jovanotti, Spanish soprano Monserrat Caballe' and Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli.
