Undercover police bust alleged Camorra extortionists

(ANSA) - Rome August 30 - Police posing as construction workers busted two alleged members of the Camorra crime syndicate near the southern city of Naples on Thursday for extorsion. Undercover officers in the town of Castellammare di Stabia arrested Dario Abbruzzese and Vincenzo Spista suspected of working for the D'Alessandro clan after the two men came to collect "protection money". The alleged mafia hands asked for 25,000 euros so that the workers could "continue undisturbed".
