Rome, June 20 - The Italian privacy authority said on Thursday that they have asked Google to provide information on its treatment of personal data and threatened the Internet giant with a fine. The authority said it has requested "more precise details on specific aspects of the way user date is treated". "The information will be assessed for possible future sanctions," the authority said.
