Afghan migrants rescued off Calabrian coast

Reggio Calabria, May 2 - Italian coast guards on Thursday rescued 43 Afghan immigrants off Capo Dell'Armi, in the southern region of Calabria. The group included 16 children, a baby, 11 women, one of whom is pregnant, and 15 men. Coast Guards rescued them after the sailboat they were travelling on ran aground. The migrants are now being provided with assistance in Reggio Calabria.
