Rightists spray-paint Resistance praise

Rome, April 25 - One of Italy's extreme-right groups spray-painted a slogan lauding WWII Resistance fighters on the eve of the anniversary of the country's liberation by the Allies. In a phone call to ANSA, Milizia claimed responsibility for obliterated the words, 'Hail to the Partisans', on a wall in working-class and traditionally left-wing San Lorenzo district. President Giorgio Napolitano led events across the country on Liberation Day Thursday.
